Book Club

American Women's Club Book Group Usually on the Tuesday following the general meeting, 10:00am —12:00pm. Alternating members’ homes. Free.

An informal, very friendly group. Most of our lively discussions segue into personal stories, general conversation, and a lot of laughter. We choose a broad range of contemporary selections.

Bridge

Tuesdays (whenever we have a foursome!), 10.00am - 3.00pm. Alternating members’ homes. Potluck lunch. Non-competetive! Improve your bridge skills, exercise those brain cells and have fun. We don't keep score, and we do table talk. If you have played bridge or have a background in Spades or Whist and want to learn bridge, please join us!

Bunco

Third Wednesday each month, 7:30pm—10:00pm. Alternating members’ homes. £5. Join us for a fun dice game of few skills and lots of luck! This is a potluck event, so please bring a dish to share.

Chef of The Month

Learn and share some cooking techniques with each other through a fun, lively cooking demonstration each month! Members will take turns hosting this group each month and will demonstrate how to cook their special recipes, often with an international theme. E-mail activities@tvawc.com for more information.

A day/evening out to see a current chick flick!

Children's Activities

This group focuses on events for the whole family to enjoy - Saturday activities, American holiday celebrations, School Break outings and more.

Golf

Day, time and location vary according to group. Two groups are available. Golf 1 Group lesson, meeting once a week for six weeks. The course provides the clubs and balls. We have an outstanding pro at Lavender Park Golf Center in Ascot who will have you playing in no time! Golf 2 Relaxed, non-competitive play for all skill levels. We usually play at Billingbear.

Ladies Day Out

Once a month. Different sights each month. Pay your own way. A day out visiting different fun and historical sites. This maybe a London 'must do' attraction, a local stately home, or just somewhere fun that the group want to go.

Ladies Night Out

Once a month, time and location vary based on group schedule. Dutch treat for each meal. A fun night out at a different restaurant each month.

Moms and Tots

Every Friday at 10.00am. Alternating member’s homes. Free For those with babies and younger children. We’re a fun group and enjoy getting together with the kids to chat while the kids play! Older children are welcome during school breaks.

Needle Nutz

1st and 3rd Fridays from 10.30am-12noon. Rotates to members homes and coffee houses. A chance to knit (or any other portable craft) and chat. Beginners welcome!

Scrapbooking

Chosen Fridays, rotating day and evening times. Optional fees for supplies. Spend the day preserving your adventures abroad. The Scrapbooking Club brings people together to socialize, have fun and create their own masterpieces. A Creative Memories consultant is on hand with loads of supplies to use and to offer creative guidance. No pressure sales!

Spoilers

On an as-needed basis; no regular day or built-in time commitment. Provide a break for a new mom! Spoilers babysit in pairs so they get to play with little ones and have some significant one-on-one time with another club member. This is a way of members helping members.

Walking

4th Thursday of each month. Different routes every month. Generally free for the walk, Dutch treat for the après-walk pub lunch. Experience the English countryside on foot, and enjoy pub grub as a reward for your efforts! The benefits include exercise and the therapy of walking and talking while enjoying the outdoors.
